Talinum Trading (Pty) Ltd trading as Intercity SA was established in 2020, due to a Management buy out of the Marouns Group. The new Management Team has decided to change the name from Marouns Group to Intercity SA.
Kansai Plascon was the former owners of the Marouns Group, which consisted of Cape Paint & Panel, Marouns Paint & Panel Stores nationally and Intercity Paint & Panel. Intercity SA currently consists of 5 branches country wide and has a work force of 150 Staff. Under the new ownership, Intercity SA is a proud Level 1 BBBEE contributor, which will add huge value to our MBR Business Partners from a Procurement spend perspective.
